Brockhill Course - Hole 18

A right to left par 5 dog-leg rising swiftly to the corner and then more gently from the corner to the road before dropping to the green which rises front to back. A copse on the left at the dogleg corner needs to be avoided. The fairway narrows at the road at about 50 yards out and three bunkers guard the green.

TIPS

A very high carry over trees rewards the brave with an uphill 200 yard approach shot to the green. A clever draw also gains some advantage. The conventional approach is a tee shot to the corner of the dogleg, a fairway wood and short iron to a generous green guarded by bunkers with slopes to left and rear. Note the pin position at the tee as it is sometimes out of sight for the approach shot.
