Mark Jones

Mark is a PGA Advanced Professional, who holds Accredited status with the PGA.

Mark took on the role as Club Professional on the 1st November 2020 after a 7 year stint in the Middle East where he gained industry experience at courses such as Yas Links, Abu Dhabi ranked 44 in the world by Golf Digest USA and The Track, Meydan Golf a fully floodlit 9 hole facility voted the number 1 9 hole golf course in the Middle East by the world golf awards.

Mark’s best tip is ‘Get your grip right for your swing and learn to strike it first, before hitting it straight’ and his Dream Partners in a Fourball, would be Seve Ballesteros, Tiger Woods and Gary Player.

Oli is a Level 1 qualified Coach and is just about to start his second year of study.  His enthusiasm for Golf is of the highest level and it reflects in how he equips himself around the club.  Oli is playing plenty of Golf and this year qualified for the National Assistants Championship.  He has an eye for custom fitting and his top tip is ‘Always be mindful and use your course management, as you’ll always have plenty of opportunities to attack the pin’.

Sherilyn is our Club Professional Marks wife and holds over 10 years of international Pro Shop experience.  Sherilyn is a retail expert and a lot of how the items on display in the shop are merchandised is down to her skills.  She is key to the administration side of the shop business and covers shifts in the shop. Sherilyn is an avid Golfer and enjoys getting out on the course.
